FX-9® was originally formulated to meet a Canadian Department of National Defense
specification as an environmentally friendly replacement for the solvent Varsol (mineral
spirits). It is a completely safe product that is approved in Canada and has been assigned
stock numbers by the Canadian Armed Forces, NATO, Transport Canada, Agriculture
Canada and Qualified Products List (QPL).
Technically, FX-9® is a non-ionic synthetic liquid surfactant.
In general terms, FX-9® is a non-hazardous industrial strength cleaner/degreaser that can
be diluted for a wide range of cleaning applications in factories, businesses, and
institutions; and is also safe for use in your home.
